  Unprofessional staff with questionable equipment reliability. Went for LASIK surgery, sat in the waiting room outside the OR as a patient, who wasn't in the right condition for surgery but was still pushed through, had an issue. Thanks to the gabby nurses and otherwise dead silence, I heard everything about this patient and the problem that had come up. Then as they spent an hour working with this angry patient, the laser broke! Again thanks to the silent room and free talking staff i heard all about the multiple failures that were happening and how they wanted to rig up the laser so they could continue to my surgery....thankfully someone smarter cancelled all the remaining procedures.
  
  If I hadn't demanded my check back, I'm sure i would not have received any refund, as I was told flat out that I wouldn't get my $100 deposit back, despite not getting so much as a sorry from the doctor himself, missing an entire day of work, and having to walk out and onto the streets of Margate with half of my face coated in Iodine.
  Not to mention the area around the office floods like the end of days. I had to walk three flooded blocks to make it to pre-admission testing because the entrance to the parking lot was under 2 -2 1/2 feet of water.
  
  Not somewhere to go for assured care, patient confidentiality, or for anyone who has any mobility issues.
